Wuthering Heights

Unsettled weather was again the theme of the day. Despite this, we wanted to pick up our first geocache: Kesselseberg dagzoom GCZJNC. It’s remarkable to find such a geological wonder so nearby home.

When parked at the predetermined spot, I recognised the spot. We had a corporate dinner was in the banquet room over there. Never wondered what this big “bulge” behind the houses meant. It was time to discover. After a couple of stairs we were welcomed by a overwhelming view over Leuven. Despite the weather conditions, we could even see the Atomium in Brussels.

To conclude we wanted to search for a traditional nearby, but -like the one yesterday – couldn’t find it. It seems that I have some serious troubles finding ammo boxes :-( Anyone suggestions on how to search and find them?

    How long are you searching for ammo cans before giving up? There are some people that have a 7 minute rule.

    Me? Usually, I’ll search for 20 minutes or longer, especially if it’s an ammo can. I’ve seen some devilishly good camouflage on ammo cans. Usually, it just takes awhile until all of a sudden, something clicks, like something just doesn’t look right and you have the cache.

    @Webfoot -
    What about 30-45 minutes? I guess that I’m not so good in finding the cellar where they’re hidden in.
