Time travelling
Last Saturday, ‘De Bosklappers’ – an event team I’m part of attended – the WW7 event for some time travelling.
Before doing this I did a third attempt to find De kabouterschat by JorenP (GC24FWH). The first attempt ended up in a disaster. My second attempt stopped after WP1 since some muggles felt the need to burn some wood at the stash location. So I headed Friday with the idea it would be easy this time. Wrong again. I had to call the help of the owner since I couldn’t find the well hidden container.
The theme of this year’s WW event was time travelling. There were different routes with each their own theme. We were assigned to the routes Egypt / Primeavel ages and Vikings / Mafia. It would be a very lengthy blog if I would cover everything, so I let the pictures – courtesy by Freggie, Weedboer and geocacherQ – speak:

My absolute favourite assignment was the speleological track in an old mining building. It also enjoyed the company of the rest of the team. We didn’t finish on the stand, but we laughed a lot.
As last year, this event was well organized and a lot of effort was put into this. Logistically spoken only, it was huge to get things arranged on this beautiful location. And the I didn’t mention the well designed, surprising and innovative way things where conceived. I must have been a huge work to get this organized in time. I couldn’t do this at all, but I’ve no intention to organize such an event at all.
