The Magical Mystery Tour

The theme of the past WE was a mystery to me.

Before I tell you something about it, I have to mention that I did already some caching last Friday. I needed to have some fresh air after the frustrations I had earlier that day. I took holiday for the installation of my long awaited solar panels, but they postponed it that day to Monday. In fact, they’re wiring whilst I’m typing this. Luckily, the cable guy kept his appointment and did even fix the problem with our digital TV by replacing the splitter and the set top box (the third in 9 months). The downside was that he cut our phone wire, which I only noticed when he already left for an hour and tried to call someone. So I needed to cool off a bit and found: Vissenaken – alles is relatief.. GC1Z2VG and View Hoegaarden 3 GC1YXPC. I also made all preparations for my newest mystery cache: 1130. There isn’t an English translation provided this time, since it’s purely a language oriented cache, which isn’t translatable properly, at least not with my limited English knowledge (the native speaker among you is probably annoyed with my grammar and spelling errors).
The theme of the cache comes in essence to counting the elves. I had some problems with publishing to a guideline restriction about the minimum distance between WPs, but which could be fixed with the help of Allimmo.

On Sunday, Freggie and I spent the morning in finding a lot of mysteries. We’ve setup a kind of joined venture for solving the mysteries. We split the tasks and where needed we put our heads together. We managed to create a list of 16 mysteries we’ve solved the last couple of weeks. So we logged our first one, we logged our first one and within half an hour we have logged about 4 (2 mysteries and 2 unexpected traditionals).  That was until we arrived at the crime scene for a mystery by scoffie en de MISSloopsters. For the non Belgian cachers: Scoffie is the master of the mysteries. He created > 150 them and many of them aren’t child’s play. First of all, one needs to find out the solution on paper and sometimes it’s as hard in the field. We arrived at such a cache: Air Elitos GC1DCNT. It took a while to find the first waypoint. It contained our second assignment. We couldn’t make anything about it. We got finally the solution when Mrs Freggie provided us some essential info.
We tried to finish of the list, but duty called and headed home by noon. These are the ones we’ve finished too:

In the after noon, I needed to chill off a bit from this brain activity with a nice multi where enjoying the scenery take precedence from difficult calculations: HET BLEEKBOS GCJPDH
