Against all intentions, I have bought new travel bugs and entered them in two separate TB races.
This morning I continued the new tradition of picking up a cache of going to work, despite the fact that I didn’t need to bring my son to judo training camp.

Jshults is the guy who let me discover new scripts that makes geocaching much easier. In an earlier blog, I mentioned that he tweeted about the GC Tour script (which I use frequently now). Now he tweets about the Advanced Nuvi Macro.
This continuation of freezing temperatures and snow is not my cup of tea. The temperatures didn’t exceed freezing point for more than 15 days now. Maybe I wasn’t that weather conscious before, but I can’t remember that it has been so cold for quite a long time now. It’s about time that this comes to an end and more reasonable temperatures are in place.
Today the Great TB Race kicked off. This Travel Bug race – organised by TripCyclone - started today and ends exactly one year later (January 8th, 2010).
It’s official, I’ve published my first own cache: TB & GC Motel Afrit 24 GC1JK5Q. It’s a small TB/GC Hotel (therefore motel) at an exit of a highway. I tried to add as much background info as possible about the environment. I hope people like it, despite it’s only intended for exchanging TBs and GCs. Read more…
