Caching with square pants

We have a tradition going on. With the Easter Holidays we – that’s the family and some friends with kids having the same age as ours – visit an amusement park and in autumn we go to a bungalow park. So we went last WE to Movie Park in Germany.

His drabness

To most of you I might live a rather boring life stuck in daily routines. I won’t deny this.

Copy cat

An ex-colleague of mine was interested in geocaching and we agreed to do one together some day. I took Dijleland 1 : Arenberg GCKX21 close to work as a perfect example what geocaching is all about.

Dangerous gooses?

This week of school holiday isn’t as calm on the geocaching front as I expected. I dropped the son at a playfellow yesterday. It was a bit strange though. Normally, he doesn’t enjoy shopping at all and disappears towards the comics corner and I have always to search for him when I’ve finished shopping. Yesterday, his friend asked him if he would join a ‘trip’ to a well know Swedish furniture store. My son seems to have enjoyed it as well.

I blessed the rains down in Africa

Today was one of these gloomy days and the wife didn’t want to do a cache in the rain, even if it was a letterbox cache. I knew that I had some time left before it was my turn – I had an appointment at 5:45PM and I was still there at 8PM – , so I decided to discover a couple of cashes on my way to the hospital. Doing the tour

My son needed to be at a playfellow this afternoon and it was thus an ideal moment to making a little tour. Again, the girls weren’t very keen to join me in de the cold, so I was on my own. I decided to map a route which I could do within the 3 hours I had available. Read more…

The Big Freeze

This continuation of freezing temperatures and snow is not my cup of tea. The temperatures didn’t exceed freezing point for more than 15 days now. Maybe I wasn’t that weather conscious before, but I can’t remember that it has been so cold for quite a long time now. It’s about time that this comes to an end and more reasonable temperatures are in place.

Pick the fruit
