Repentance and a prayer

Everything seems to turn out well geocaching wise. The time that I need in order to find is getting shorter and shorter. Only special ones like “Foute vrucht of…foute boom ? #3″ GC17524 needed some extra info from the author. It is a difficult one where a micro is cleverly hidden in a wood, with a lot of DNFs as result. That’s the nice thing about geocaching. At one side you’ve caches like this and at the other side you’ve caches like “Rondje Tielt-Winge – 2 : Kabouterbos” GC15DFH which are very child friendly or give you beautiful sights like “Holle Wegen 2″ GC19Q2D or “Het molentje” GCGAZC with a very original container. The region where I live gives you a lot of variations due to the diverse landscape.

My own caches seem to do it rather well too. The new hotel seems to be accepted and the mystery cache has already some logs, although I expected some more traffic. It turns out that people find it a bit more difficult than I thought. Wait till they see my other fabrications. Speaking of. I’ve made another cache, which is a traditional one at a chapel. Everybody knows the castle nearby (as mentioned in my earlier blog), but the chapel is less know. This is a pity since the view over there is extraordinary. Photographers like Bart Ceuppens know this and I’m very glad and honoured that he let me use his photo.

The result can be seen at the St-Jozefskapel cache page: GC1KF1Q.

Finally, my TBs seems to start travellling. It seemed at first sight that I’ve lost them. The Eddy Genealogy Bug was kept by a geocaching starter for more than a month. But after a couple of mails, he did drop it in France. Apparently, the guy was on holiday. My  SDN Top Contibutor Bug got stuck in my own mystery, but I’m very confident that it’ll travel anyway. I sincerely hope that The Great TB Race: Belgian Beer Bug will know a more lightening start in the Great TB Race. More about that in another blog.
