Lost
It happened again. Short after that my cache was published, it vanished.
Does a curse rest on my “Allemaal Beestjes” series of caches? As mentioned before, the first cache of this series wasn’t on its place anymore a short time after it has been published. Luckily I could recover the container. Things are worse this time. Only a couple of days after it has been published, the second cache vanished. Really vanished, not trace of it when I went searching for it last Monday. I was so pissed that I was very tempted to archive the cache right away. I didn’t have the same material anymore to recreate the container. I had to inspire myself with courage in order to make a new one with the same theme. I’ve just put it in place and even attached it with a wire. If it’s gone again, it’ll be certainly wilfully and I won’t recreate another one. It’ll be doubtful if I’ll author further caches then, despite the fact that I’ve still a couple of ideas for containers and cache locations.
Anyway, I’ve also finished “Ken je Grenzen” GCKT1E. It didn’t start very good though. I used MapSource for determining the start location, but that didn’t work well. OziExplorer does apparently a better job, but I don’t seem to understand this software for some reason. Anyway, the rest of the WPs were easy to determine until the last WP with the final coordinates. I needs to be push his limits in order to read these coordinates but I’m a scared-cat when it comes to these kinds of things. My son is more brave then me, but wasn’t tall enough. With joined forces, we managed to determine the coordinates. Arrived there, I’ve been searching for a long time, but couldn’t find anything. There was a massive muggle presence, so I couldn’t do anything unnoticed. Wodanza told me earlier this week than I wasn’t looking at the right spot anyway. I guess there was a lot of deviation that day too. Anyway, I could log this cache rather easily.
