Lost effort?
First day of my holiday with the kids whilst the wife went to work. I had planned a visit to the cinema. It was the first week the movie Bolt in a local cinema a bit further from home. It’s still one of the few small scale chain, independent from the big players. /p pBut first we wanted to tackle Rondje Tielt-Winge – 4 : Roeselbergkapel GC15DM1 on the way to it. We needed to find a date inside the chapel that would serve as base for the next and final WP. Unfortunately the chapel was closed and whilst I was looking for another source of info, the son tried to look through a small window. Meanwhile I found a possible date and I when I started calculating the son confirmed my guess. After searching a bit, we could unhide the stash, log and move on in time for the movie.
When we arrived, I smelled troubles. The parking lot was full, which I’ve never seen over here. Despite this I queued anyway, but when it was nearly my turn, it was sold out. Damn. Oh well, we return for the next show. On the way back I picked up Parels van het Hageland 5 – Verloren glorie KVOA GC1M2Y8, a lookup mystery I prepared earlier and planned for after the movie./p pI want to end with travel bugs. I seem to have troubles with the 3 I own. One is missing, one is stuck (again) in a cache without a lot of traffic. The TB in the Great TB Race isn’t moving either. The person who dropped it there, now moved it to another place. For the record, I didn’t ask him to do this. The question now is if this is considered as dipping or not. There has been a couple of visits – not caring about taking the TB – between he dropped and moved it further. I wonder if owning TBs is something for me. After all, the aren’t cheap and when I see this result, they are a bit of a lost effort.
Update: the missing TB is found again. I’ve contacted all the loggers of the cache after the TB has been dropped. One of them replied that he forgot to log the TB. That’s a relief.
