Last cache of the year
Today is the last day of the year. A remarkable year with the last 4 months – although it started for real in October – into geocaching with 62 finds. It wasn’t always easy or pleasant. My inexperience, the weather and a couple of accidents casted sometimes a shadow over the geocaching party. I still like it though and I have even tangible plans for 2 additional caches of my own.Having said this, I had still some time to tackle a cache after I went to the dermatologist to remove some stitches. The nearest by was “Draaikolk” GC19K6P. After a short walk, I found the pit where it should be hidden. After discovering the stash, I know now why it’s called a vortex. I wonder if it turns right or left in this case.
Anyway, I also retrieved another GC and I found it time to put my harvested GCs and TBs in my TB & GC Hotel Afrit 24 GC1JK5Q in order to let them travel further. Btw my new hotel seems to appeal more to the cache hunter than the previous container and place. I’m glad it turned out well.
I’m closing this blog and year by wishing you all a happy (geocaching) year.
