It’s hip to be squire
With a mutual balance of 2867 caches, Freggie, Wodanza, Vuurvos, Weedboer and I decided it was time to accede the order of Geo Knights.
The plans were made in September, but a Conspiracy against one of the members ruled otherwise. Yesterday, we made a second attempt. The aim of De Orde der Georidders deel I GC1DF53 is to gatherĀ weapons and armour, knowledge about these arms, learn to shoot and fish. In order to do this we will need to pull through rugged territory and cross rivers and canals. Only the brave and intelligent with sufficient perseverance will become squire. After we parked our rust-free steal horse, we could examine the battle plan where knowledge of the compass rose and orientation skills was needed to gain access to the battlefield. It was a bit of a hard nut to crack before we could finally engage battle. Things went smooth. We found all the very original and well built WPs very quickly. Then suddenly, disaster stroke near the frontier. When we wanted to take the cross against the foreign enemy, we failed like tyros in finding a WP. What a disgrace. We could compose our self and munster up for the rest of the assignment. We had some big difficulties in clearing the last hurdle and just when we were talking about fall backing and acknowledge defeat, Weedboer found the precious thing that allowed us to call our self shield-bearer.
Here are some atmospheric pictures (by Vuurbos and Weedboer):

During our crusade we also picked up the following caches:
Now that we are shield-bearer, the next goal is to become knight
