I blessed the rains down in Africa
Today was one of these gloomy days and the wife didn’t want to do a cache in the rain, even if it was a letterbox cache. Instead we went to visit the Africa museum in Tervuren which isn’t that far away from home. It has been somewhat 15 years ago that I’ve visited it. The museum is doing their best to cast off their musty image and it shows.
One needed to search for a parking spot and their was a long queue at the cash desk. Before entering the museum, I couldn’t resist to tackle a cache that was barely 100 meters from the place we parked: Lost Station GC161G9. After we finished our museum visit, it still wasn’t dark and I could convince the family to tackle another one in the neighbourhood: Home Sweet Home GC14648. If that wasn’t enough I could even ‘catch’ another cache: Inside Glass GCAE60. It’s virtual where the goal is to find a building for living that’s inside a frame of glass. As said in a previous blog that virtual caches are usually (mis)used as a way to boost your stat or better said cheat without being at the locations. But when I was walking back to the car, I saw this greenhouse with Santa Claus in it. I couldn’t resist to take a picture of it and mark it as waypoint and immediately thought that it would comply to the rules of this virtual. I was physically there, so no cheating at all.
