Geocaching. What else?

Who doesn’t know the Nespresso commercials featuring George Clooney?

It’s the George Clooney of my region which came up to make a mystery cache with this type of coffee as theme. As usual, Freggie made an original and well planned cache. This mystery “Ochtendaroma“ GC1VYQ8 is a such not that difficult to solve. The only trouble is to find the right access path. Two GPSr weren’t capable to guide me properly so I had to find it out myself. As said before, it would be nice that one skipped all the lumber – the new gismo seems to be to cram TV into a GPSr, which is rather useless whilst driving. Even you stand still it’s unusable since BE is traditional a cable country and the remaining is DVB – and focus on the essence of a GPSr: guiding from A to B in the most efficient way. Unfortunately, one still seems to fail on that after all those years. Anyway, having found the way to – again original – WP1, it was time to head to the final WP. I found this rather quickly, but it took rather long to ‘dig up’ the stash. Freggie found again a special location to hide it.

It looks a bit like I’m biased concerning Freggie’s cachec because he was/still is my mentor on tutor, but that isn’t (100% :-) ) the case. I discovered last week other nice caches:

  • “Thuinas” GC1TMRR, a nice city cache which shows the best of Tienen. I had some troubles with finding the end location, but I could blame it on my new 60Cx without a SIRFstar III chipset this time. The truth is that I did some miscalculation.
  • “Holle Wegen Finale” GC19QPK, the final cache of a nice series of caches in the many sunken road in our neighbourhood.
