Freggie rules my world

In case you didn’t notice yet: I’m a big fan of the geocaches by Freggie. He manages to let people discover my home town in a pleasant way without making things to difficult in order to let one enjoy the environment. Today I tackled the last one: Wijds Lubbeek – Multi GC1F7GP. Since it was a rather long multi, the girls wanted to stay home and thus it became a father – son trip.It didn’t start of well. We could find the first tag or better said we couldn’t read it. A quick phone call to Freggie made things a bit more clear. After this false start, everything went smooth. Maybe the exception that proves the rule was the assignment when one needed to read some kind of map. I’m not so familiar with using the compass and calculating distances, but I managed.

On our way to the cache formula, we’ve had a pleasant meeting with the author. He left the X-mas preparations in order to see if everything went fine and how things could be fixed. I enjoyed this very much. Many thanks Freggie for all these caching hours and support. I hope that I can add some new caches from you in the future.

Having said this, I was just in time home to see the radio DJs leave the glass house (see previous blog) and make the provisional balance of the Music for life action: 3 503 246 Euro. Well done Flanders!
