Channel rat
It’s official: a Palm Z22 sucks when it comes to complete paperless caching. It’s ok for what cachemate covers, but when it comes to paperless spoilers, it’s pretty useless. I was doing the “De andere Bron” GCK1HD multicache and everything went smoothly on this nice walk. That was until it was time to discover the stash itself. I had a bit of deviation in the wood and thus I needed to rely on the spoiler. As you can see below, there a lot of trees on the picture.

The resolution and the size of the image on the Z22 made it impossible to make anything useful of it. Combine this with some strange acting muggles with very annoying dogs and it makes it rather unfeasible to discover the cache, which is a shame for this nice multi.
I went back to the place the day before yesterday and thought that the Channel Rat would let leave home. A Channel Rat is an intense developing depression that ‘scuttles’ along the English Channel and that moved over Belgium. It was rather windy and wet, but I could log the stash safely and dry.
Yesterday, I was at the in-laws and after the traditional pie, I decided that I needed to burn the extra gained calories with a walk. I could easily park the car nearby “Fallen Heroes II” GC11BVC and a hit and run, but instead I parked the car a few km further at a domain nearby and stroll to the stash via an alley.
It is a rather nice day today and all depended on the illness of the wife which caches I was going to attack today. I could do an already outlined route alone or a multi with her and the daughter (son is at the scouts). The lot, meaning the wife, decided that it was the “Kumtichse Kapelletjes” GC1F2F6 we would go for. The cache description promised us that it could be done within an hour. It turned out longer though, mainly due to the many calculations. The weather also turned out colder than I expected and I could barely get the log out/in the container with my numbed hands.
