Big spoiler
It’s official: spoilers on a Z22 sucks. It might work for small pics without much details, but larger photos where details matter are useless on this device. The result is that I was yesterday at the final stage of this beautiful multi and I stood there completely clueless. The wood made the pointer showing everywhere and all I remembered from the spoiler on line was that it was near a tree. But in a wood… I have to try my luck a next time.
So far my paperless spoiler experiment. It breaks my environmental heart, but I guess I need to print the spoilers out next time. The balm for my wounded feelings will be cachemate, which works rather well to a certain extend. Solving puzzles and doing calculations still needs paper.
It was yet another windy and rainy day today, so I was the only one at home feeling in a cache mood. After I dropped my son at the scouts, I picked up my SDN Top Contibutor Bug from my own “In den beginne” GC1JWTJ mystery. It seems to be stuck over there. It seems to take a while before one do a find on this cache. Surprisingly, since I don’t find a hard one to solve, certainly compared to others in my (broad) area. More on that later. Anyway, I decided to tackle some trads:
- Oude Velp GCGMKP where preparation and a good topo makes a difference in order to find the access road
- Bronnen en Sinten GC1E01N where preparation and a good topo doesn’t make any difference since the access road can only be found locally
- Columnaris GC15D6V which let me discover an old (well maintained) soldiers graveyard
- de Pinguin cache GC1589B at an old military pilot school. Dropped my TB in the hope that it finally moves a bit further. Found there yet another very big travel bug: team-freakfire @ the movies: The Big Lebowski TBC804

I’ve found that paperless is the way to go, except for times of doing puzzles, Earthcaches or anything that requires some in-depth work. Then, I print things out because, at worse, it’s nice to have the paper to do work on.

I would add multi caches with a lot of calculations and of course the mentioned spoilers.
