Bad poetry? Oh noetry!
The Poezie GC18FF9 is somewhat the worst nightmare in my young geocaching career. It was a string of blunders from my side. All went well until half way (WP5) were one could doubt the amount one was looking for. Then the misery continued, I took the wrong numbers at WP6, couldn’t find WP7 due to the miscalculations based on the wrong numbers in WP5 and WP6 and ended in the middle of fields and anding roads.
Then I contacted a whole bunch of people who did find the stash successfully. But even with hints from Freggie and Marc B I didn’t seem to able to find the answer for WP8.
After 6 attempts in 5 days I finally could find the cache.
I big shame on myself, since there wasn’t anything to blame towards the cache itself. It was a very nice one indeed. In don’t know if I can pinpoint the problems to my lack of experience. I guess it’s rather a lack of skills and maybe I should choose another hobby. Better luck next time. I hope.
